How To Sew A Dinosores Plush Youtube
Free Pattern Friday! Tiny Dino Plush
I knew I had wanted to exercise a dinosaur plush for months now, and I've been obsessed with designing things with simple shapes. So those ii together brings us this tubby little dino costly! It's got a round, chubby trivial body with four tiny legs and lots of spikes going downwards the back.
If you're not used to working with actually tiny pieces it might be tricky, simply information technology's also good practise. Other than that it's merely got some darts and curved sewing, then I gave it ii/10 stars in difficulty. If tiny pieces are really difficult for yous it might be closer to a 3/ten. All in all a decent plush to make if you lot're ready to move away from pillow-mode soft toys.
I tin see using this same pattern for a dragon or other like animals π Merely add some wings on the back and you're pretty much adept to go!

They are and so cute! π
*whisper screaming* omg tiny dino buddies!!!
Would the wings from the winged pilus clips pattern exist a good size for calculation to these? The bat wings look similar the could be used to modify the pattern to a small dragon!
Yeah! Now that I hold them against each other I think it would exist a actually good fit π
Thank you lot for this pattern. I dear these kinds of simplified "blob-like" plushes. Please more patterns like this!
Oh good! I like this style also π So fun to customize!

I love it ^^. Simply somehow I tin't seem to get the edges on information technology's head sewn nicely round. I ever go them pointy in the corners T.T
Do y'all accept any tips on how I should prepare that?
Beloved your creations by the style ^^.
I'grand glad yous similar it! Before yous sew the seam, it might help to depict a line where the dart is more curved and blends in with the fold. That way y'all know exactly what you're sewing. But if the plush is already done, Teacup Lion has a great tutorial for how to improve the dart π

My grandkids will be taking them as fast as I can brand them these are and then cute.
Aww! This is adorable π Give thanks you lot for sharing the photo! I'm so glad the pattern worked out well for yous ♥
This is the cutest little stuffed beast. Information technology doesn't look also difficult, so I hope the 2 boxes rating is doable for me. Thanks.
I wish you lot could make some YouTube videos for these. Some of these tools I'm unfamiliar with and I wish I was post-obit a video to make sure I don't miss something that pictures tin't convey.
I definitely promise to brand videos in the time to come! π
I love them
There are and then cute! Cheers for sharing the pattern.
I admittedly love this! Your patterns and instructions are helpful because I am kind-of a beginner. I am trying to make your easiest patterns and progress to the harder ones. I was in the eye of sewing the last pes with my machine and the upper thread snapped! I tried adjusting stitch length, thread tension, checking within the machine, and it still kept happening. I tried again, and it didn't snap, but it stopped moving my textile and just stitched in the same place. I am sure the presser foot was downwardly. I tried again, and the aforementioned affair! The machine was threaded correctly, I'm almost certain I did everything right. I own a Singer model 3223. Any advice? Information technology seems to just exist doing this with fleece.
Thanks so much! I'm really glad the patterns have been helpful to you!
But regarding the thread problem, information technology kind of sounds similar the thread is getting caught on something? This e'er happens to me when the superlative thread is caught on the spool or something along the way to the needle. You could try lifting the presser pes and pulling at the thread. Then expect at all the areas where it travels to see if there's an obstruction. And if you lot don't see ane, sometimes the thread is knotted or kinked somewhere so re-threading does the flim-flam.
Hopefully that's the issue! Simply in the meantime I'll see if anything else could be causing it π
I looked further and it seems to only be doing this with two pieces of fleece stacked. It does but fine with 1 piece. I'g going to try sewing one layer of fleece on top of a layer of standard cotton fabric. Simply every bit for the body, I think I may take to just hand sew it.
Okay π with that new information my side by side judge would exist that it could be the needle. When my needle gets ho-hum it has trouble sewing through multiple layers of thick fabric. Mostly because it throws off the timing so information technology doesn't brand a stitch properly. Either using a new needle — or in the example of fleece — switching to a needle for knits or stretch fabrics usually does the pull a fast one on.
I am sewing this by hand and it is going well!! I volition send you a motion-picture show when I'm washed.
I made I albino one and it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute! Give thanks y'all and so much for this pattern. Delight do more free ones shortly!
would these files fit a 4×four hoop at all? ^^; I feel like I may have bought the incorrect car as nigh files seem to be larger ^^;
If I rotate the faces they should fit π Then if y'all rotate your fabric too while hooping it should piece of work out. You tin can download them hither: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/3iinuznxqs8q5fx/AAD1IogPXYKB-m5T570BPAjOa?dl=0
Unfortunately many of the older patterns were designed before I had an embroidery machine, and so I had no thought that the size would exist an issue for people. But now I try to brand all of my patterns 4×four friendly whenever possible. Then if you continue with the more recent patterns you lot'll have better luck ♥
Cheers so much! I have a few of your patterns saved now – only trying to build up confidence on the easier rated ones starting time π€£
Thank you soooooooooo much! In school we had a pajama day, so, I made three of these for me and my friends And they loved them! BWT I found that these work best with minky, but if your having trouble with the feet manus run up em'! π as well if the spikes are to hard i suggest using fleece (or a non fraying thick fabric) and not sewing them at all! π
